Author John Elder Robison discusses his book \"Look Me in the Eye: My Life with Asperger\'s,\" as part of Northeastern University Libraries\' Meet the Author series, on November 5, 2008. Robison is the elder brother of popular author and memoirist Augusten Burroughs, who has detailed his family history of alcoholism and mental illness. Robisons book covers some of the same territory, but continues into his adulthood, which has been decidedly different from Burroughs: he started a successful business making flaming guitars for KISS. He was only diagnosed with Aspergers in middle-age, after decades of both successes and trials related to the disorder.
