[Web 2.0] Progress, Not Perfection - 90-Day Challenge Day 6 How To Start A Business Videos

http://MLMBestSystem.com * http://www.theohanasecret.com/x.php?a=r&id=22100_1470 (MLM Goldmine 90-Day Challenge)I\'m doing my own personal 90-day challenge, inspired by Dennis Karganilla of MLM Goldmine. MLM Goldmine does a fantastic job of teaching Web2.0 marketing, and I just finished a 90-day program they had for CarbonCopyPRO. Now they\'ve got a new \"90 day MLM challenge\" that people can sign up for. (2ndlink above has more info.)\n\nI just finished my 6th day of my personal 90-day challenge (inspired by Dennis). I\'m keeping in mind the whole concept of \"harmonic wealth,\" but focusing especially on two areas: financial and spiritual.\n\nMy idea for today, however is: \"Progress, Not Perfection.\"\n\nThis is difficult for me. I have a perfectionist tendency which does not serve me. Funny... I used to think perfectionism was a good quality, and only in the last few years have I realized that it is not. I see now that it holds me back. Sometimes it\'s hard for me to start something, because I get so muchinto the detail that it takes longer than I think it ought to... and so, when looking at a new project I can be reluctant to jump in if I think I won\'t have enough time to get it done. Then, once I\'m into something, it\'s hard to get me out of it... just one more little tweak... maybe this could be a little better... have I thought about this thing... etc. etc. Not a great way to get things DONE.So, on this 90-day challenge I have to keep coming back to that idea again. Progress, not perfection. I have mapped out a schedule for myself for during this challenge, and one thing I did is not to assign specific times for my tasks ahead of time, but instead gave a time value... like \"blogging,1 hour,\" \"video production, 2 hours,\" etc. I can then assign the specific time as I go along... one day at a time. That way I can accommodate any special appointments or events I might have.\n\nI made a plan for each day of the week--writing down which tasks I would do on Monday, Tuesday, etc., and then assigning a time value. Then I made a grid with each day of the week across the top, and the hours of the day along the left. Then I put each task into a rectangle, until I come up with my schedule for that day. So far so good.\n\nNow the trick is for me to stay within the time that I\'ve allotted.I may use a time some of the time. This means that I\'m going to have to work a little faster than I might otherwise, more focused, less distracted, and not always get into nit-picky detail. And I need to keep reminding myself that I\'m making progress... not perfection!\n\nYesterday the entire schedulegot thrown out the window when a special, pressing project came up. Today, I\'m getting back on the horse. Planning things out ahead of time will help me be more clear, help me focus immediately on the task and hand, and move from one thing to the next.\n\nSusan Wood\n206-426-2752\nMy MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/DestinyHomeBusiness\n\nDennis Karganilla, MLMGoldmine, successful home based business, homebased business opportunity, working at home, entrepreneur success, carboncopypro, carbon copy pro, carboncopy pro, generating free leads, web 2.0 internet marketing, online marketing, learningweb 2.0, online marketing, perfectionist, perfectionism, progress not perfection, web 2.0 mentor, learning internet marketing\n\nCreative Web 2.0 Learning\nMay 23, 2007 ...
